Genesis
The first time
Earth came into sight
They were so far from home
So full of hope
For the life yet to come.
The first time a dragon
Shook the sword from its side
And weaved its magic
Into a human form;
The best armor it ever had.
The first time a person
Chose the sea for their home
Gave up their legs, and felt
As made for it, and as happy,
As the others on land.
The first time a place
That was only four walls
Grew into a home
From the love of the people
That lived together within it--
That was the moment this world began.
